Two Cookbooks to Recommend

I've purchased five cookbooks in the last couple of weeks. Don't tell Vanessa, since she's always trying to keep our bank balance big and my waistline small.

I'll recommend two of them, both of which have produced only home runs so far:

Hugh's books are awesome. I picked up this one in the discount section at Mosaic in Kelowna (different cover photo than pictured). The image links to Amazon.

Thought the recipes in this one might be too precious, but so far I've tried three that use simple ingredients, weren't fussy, and tasted ver ver good. Image links to Amazon.
